Antique Murano glass sway chain gold or amber glass - original pieces very rare!

Each link is 45mm in length

This hand blown glass chain is to create sways between chandelier arms, around bobeche etc - it is not designed to carry weight so not for chandelier installation!

Dating back to the 19th century and hand blown so please note sizes and colouring may vary

Each length comprises of one glass hook similar to an S hook either end with links in between, these links are larger links with a rope effect design. Length is total overall length - all sizes approx. Click drop down menu for length options.

These are original pieces and due to the age may show signs of age, nibbles, colour fading - originally from the M E Crick collection

Our Murano glass chandelier chain is original hand blown chain dating from 1900's and is a decorative chain that is used to create sways from chandelier arm to chandelier arm.  

It is rare to find complete strands with both connecting S hooks in place and we have various lengths and will be adding additional listings with other colours as well as listings of lenghts that may be incomplete but still usable.

The skill of the Murano glass blowers is apparent in each link whilst showing that they are hand made with small imperfections such as differences in the link size, glass width or colour thus adding to history of the piece
